PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT MY NEW BOOK!

It makes my author heart happy to see that people are enjoying my new book.  Here are a few reviews that have been posted lately:

"Do You Ever Feel... by @sharliezinniger and illustrated by Tiffany Cunliffe is a wonderful way to introduce your child to their emotions and feelings. Using rhyming verse the book the book goes through a variety of emotions that a child might feel while making it fun by comparing them to how animals might feel. The illustrations are are colourful and engaging and the book flows nicely from start to finish. We would recommend this book for any parent wanting to introduce and talk about their child’s feelings with them in a simple yet fun way."

"Great book about feelings! Featuring lots of different animals one by one, as they express a different feeling. It’s simple and easy for little ones to follow, the artwork is really cute too. The rhyming text doesn’t seemed forced at all, which is great to see. They really did a great job on this book!"

"We read this every night to our 3 year old son, and he loves it! We reference it throughout the day when he is having trouble expressing his feelings and acting out. It helps him understand what he is feeling and to handle the situation better. This book truly is a gem!"

"This is a must have book for a classroom library! I’m excited to share it with my 1st graders this year- although it would work in any grade. The questions posed in the book open up for student sharing and discussions about feelings as well as what we can do when we feel emotions. I love how it helps the reader connect to their emotions and reminds us we all feel lots of emotions everyday. I also love that it uses the phrase “Do you ever feel.....?”, reminding the reader that who we are is separate from what we feel. (There is a big difference between “I feel angry” vs “I am angry”). The illustrations are wonderful and engaging as well!"

"A great book for starting a conversation with kids about their emotions, going beyond the basics of happy/sad/angry etc. I also really like the simple but fun words and pictures, perfect to interest kids without overwhelming them."
